Sunday Evening Post, September 27, 2026 finds C&NW F7 #419 leading five other F7s crossing Palatine Rd in Palatine with an eastbound train in February 1981. The train is heavy with finished automobiles, and will take the New Line connection at Seeger Junction to Proviso yard. This scene has changed quite a bit, with the signal bridge relocated, and the siding switch and business on the left removed and the roads widened. (Mark Llanuza)
